My Mission to Help You Organize Your Life
Welcome!
Well, that would be a pleasant statement to put in this about section, but it is a little more rocky than that.
See, after graduating college, my parents had high hopes for me making it big (in the business world). They hated the idea of me being a SAHM.
In some ways, they were right because after leaving my corporate job, I struggled with my identity as a mom at home. That plus we had just moved right before having my first-born. I had no support circle for the first few years.
I had to build one from scratch (actually the Lord built it around us through our church).
I knew being a SAHM wouldn’t be easy but since I had not prepared for this journey at all, I also quickly found out the financial burden it could carry.
I tried all of the at-home gigs I could to bring up our income, but with each venture I was stopped by a nauseating, fatigue and a pain-ridden pregnancy. Later I found out that I had a rare pregnancy condition called Hyperemesis Gravidarum.
Honestly, if we hadn’t gotten out of debt early in my SAHM journey, I’m not sure if we would’ve survived my being home at all.
Because of all of my troubles I’m invested in helping moms to prepare to be home and to make money.
