Thursday To-dos for Moms at Home
Thursdays are such a ‘get things done’ kind of day. It’s as if Thursday says, ” your time is running out to get things right for this week”.
After all, your days and weeks are set in stone once they are gone. So even though every day counts, I just feel like Thursday is your last shot before that week is history. Why not include Friday… well, we all know what happens on Friday. The last best day to really hit it is Thursday.
Thursday is the Key
Thursday is definitely not a leisure day (although sometimes by Thursday that’s just what we need). Instead, use your beautiful day to get some key things done.
Definitely, use this day for viewing your calendar for any last-minute weekend needs.
Do you have a playdate for Friday?
Guests for the weekend?
Home Improvement projects you need to can supplies for?
You can split up any preparations between today and Friday.
Pro-Mom tip: When You have Littles don’t wait for the last minute on any task. Do little bits starting as early as possible. Want more Pro-mom tips? Read my preparation series, for what to do when you weren’t ready for motherhood (even though you thought you were).
Thursday is also a good time to do budgeting, bills and mail sorting. If Tuesday wasn’t your day, you may want to do storytime or grocery shopping today.
But don’t pack all of those in! Pick two maybe three kids over 5, but don’t try to focus on more than that.
Here are the main points to look at for Thursday.
You’ll see that some of these points overlap with the Everyday Habits that will keep you sane.
Now go out there and rock Thursday!
